Lehigh hosts Ken French, world renowned professor of finance and economics, as conference keynote speaker.

"Wither the Irish Economy?" an international conference on the Irish economy sponsored by Lehigh's Martindale Center for Private Enterprise and the Office of International Affairs, provided an in-depth study of the financial crisis in Ireland.

Ken French, an internationally recognized professor of finance and economics, shared his thoughts on the complexity of the financial issues facing Ireland. French, along with his co-author, Gene Fama, are well known for their academic work that is some of the most cited in all finance-related academic research.
