Second Semester Update
The first semester of the 2006 - 2007 school year has proved to be very successful for the brothers of Beta Theta Pi. First semester upper classmen rush brought in three new brothers. Denis Stallings, Dan Eng, and Sean W. Gorman have already been initiated and are now living the house. The beta chi chapter was finally upgraded from warning status to good standing by the general fraternity. With this upgrade, we are on track for another successful semester with a focus on successful academic performance as well as holding numerous social and philanthropic events. Currently the chapter is involved in the underclassman Rush which is soon coming to an end. Check back to find out how many freshman will sign their bids.

Dale Falcinelli is the new Beta Faculty Advisor

The brothers welcome back Dale Falcinelli to the Beta house as the chapter faculty advisor. Dale is the creator of the Lehigh University V-series, one-of-a-kind executive certificate program and MBA track that focuses squarely on corporate entrepreneurship.

"A longstanding member of the Lehigh University MBA faculty, Mr. Falcinelli serves as Professor of Practice, a faculty rank that recognizes accomplishment in industry and the professions

Mr. Falcinelli has sat on over twenty corporate boards of both public and privately-held companies, often holding key-level positions including that of board chairman. He is a frequent speaker before corporate audiences and academic institutions, and has lectured in the MBA and Executive MBA programs at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, including "Wharton West" in San Francisco." - V-series Faculty bio

Dale is not only a distinguished faculty member of the Department of Management, but he is also a Beta Chi alumni. The brothers are privileged to have Dale Falcinelli as a resource for the chapter.

House Project Day is Saturday, October 28th

This semester's house project day is scheduled to happen on Saturday October 28th and the active brothers once again invite the alumni to come and help out with the many projects to improve the house planned for the day. We need tools, a power washer, and general house improvement items so bring them if you have them. We're starting at 10 am and will keep working, with a break for lunch, until the projects are finished in the late afternoon.

Alumni, if you wish to come help us renovate the house, or have any questions about the house project day, please let the house manager Max Muheim (mjm509@lehigh.edu)or the Alumni Relations Chairman Brett Cochran (brc2@lehigh.edu ) know. Come meet all the new brothers, as well as the three new upperclassman pledges Sean, Denis and Dan.
