EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
To achieve its educational mission, the Bioengineering Program has established the following set of Program Educational Objectives. Three to five years after graduation, we expect our students will:
- apply modern engineering methodologies to bioengineering problems;
- employ concepts from physical and life sciences, and mathematics as part of their problem solving process;
- contribute effectively in the collaborative and interdisciplinary environments required to solve complex bioengineering problems;
- solve bioengineering problems with an understanding of the ethical, societal and regulatory issues;
- communicate effectively in both oral and written forms;
- demonstrate ongoing learning during their professional careers.
