Berger Lab @ Lehigh


We are an interdisciplinary research group in the Bioengineering and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering departments at Lehigh University. Our research is focused on problems at the interface of biophysics and engineering, with applications in diverse areas such as receptor signal transduction, biosurfactant design and scalable biosynthesis,  nanocrystal biomanufacturing and multi-drug resistant bacterial infection. A common theme in our work is understanding the interrelationship between protein structure, molecular recognition and biological function. Our work is highly collaborative, and we work extensively with clinicians and biomedical scientists as well as local industrial research groups.
