Nanotechnology: Real world applications today, but a bumpy road to revolution ahead

Nanotechnology Symposium 6/04/2007
Over 130 people gathered in Lehigh University's Iacocca Hall in order to discuss and hear about whats new in the world of nanotechnology. Sponsored by Lehigh University, the Lehigh Valley Workforce Investment Board and the Manufacturers Resource center, the symposium highlighted current and projected uses of nanotechnologies ranging from clothing and construction to energy and health care. A short survey was also conducted at the symposium.
LNN Workforce and Education Workshop 9/26/2006
Business members from the LNN, various economic development organizations, community college directors, and high school teachers met to discuss the future educational needs of the nanotechnology industry in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding communities.
