The Volleyball locker room is located in Grace Hall. The locker room is used for daily practice and home contests. Each locker is identified with the player’s name and an identification number (i.e. V-1, V-2...). The identification number is used for the locker, laundry bag and travel bag. Practices may also occur at Taylor Gym/Rauch Field House.
-Laundry bags are issued at the beginning of the season. The following articles will be issued: 1 towel, 2 pair athletic socks, 4 grey T-shirts, 2 brown practice short, 1 pair of knee pads, 1 sport bra.
-DO NOT put any personal items in the laundry bag. Make sure that the laundry bag is closed properly before placing it in the hamper to be washed.
-The laundry bags will be picked up to be washed late evening and will be placed back in the appropriate locker room by 1 P.M.
-At the end of the season, ALL items issued must be turned in within five working (5) days. If not, a bill will be submitted to the Bursar’s Office. ANY OF THE ITEMS THAT ARE LOST, STOLEN OR FORGOTTEN WILL BE REPLACED AT A CHARGE.
-The following articles will be issued at the beginning of each athlete's career: 1 brown sweat shirt, 1 brown sweat pant and travel suit. These items are issued to you for your career. These are yours to keep following your senior year of competition. If you leave the team for any reason prior to this, it is your responsibility to return those items. If not, a bill will be submitted to the Bursar’s Office.
-The following items will be issued at the beginning of each season: 1 warm-up top and 1 warm-up bottom. These items are your responsibility for the entire season. These items, along with career issue, should be removed from your travel bag following each away match/meet.
-Replacement of items will be made when old items become worn out. A one for one exchange will occur when for example: socks are worn out or a t-shirt becomes torn. ANY OF THE ITEMS THAT ARE LOST, STOLEN OR FORGOTTEN WILL BE REPLACED AT A CHARGE. A bill will be forwarded to the Bursar’s Office at the end of the season.
-On the day of a home contest, those players participating in that day’s event will find their game jersey and game shorts in the locker room. Towel, socks, knee pads and sports bra for home contests will be used out of the daily laundry bag that is used for practice.
-After the game, place the game jersey and game shorts in the hamper provided. Place your laundry bag containing any used practice gear in the hamper. Do not place wire hangers in either hamper because they may ruin the uniforms.
-The day before departure for an away contest, a travel bag will be placed in the locker room for those players participating in that contest. The following articles will be packed: game jersey(s), game shorts, 1 pair athletic socks, 1 towel. The player should pack any personal items needed.
-Upon return to Grace Hall/Taylor Gym the travel bag should be zipped shut and IMMEDIATELY placed in the drop off location. The travel bags will be picked up, inventoried and washed. If an issued item is not returned, the Head Coach will be notified immediately. If these items are not returned by the end of the season, a bill will be sent to the Bursar’s Office.
