C.O.A.C.H.

Community Outreach by Athletes Who Care About Helping (C.O.A.C.H.) is a service program that operates in accord with the National Consortium for Academics and Sports to help (along with parents, teachers and coaches) middle and high school student-athletes and their peers, make informed choices regarding their education, drug and alchohol issues and other factors, which may affect reaching their full potential. The participating Lehigh student-athletes talk about substance abuse, time management, academic motivation and other concerns of younger students and student-athletes, The program offers Lehigh student-athletes as "C.O.A.C.H."es for elementary, middle and high school students.

COT Opto Camp

This week long camp organized by the COT (Center for Optical Technologies) aims to give students project-based exploration to find out about sound, color, imaging and optical communication. Students will bring home projects that will amaze friends and family.
Opto Camp will be offered three times during the summer of 2005.
Two camps are designed for kids who are currently in 6th, 7th or 8th
grade. The third camp is specifically for girls currently in 5th-7th grade.

Leo EnvironSci Inquiry

The LEO EnviroSci Inquiry Web site is a K-12 outreach project from LEO (Lehigh Earth Observatory) and the SERVIT (Science Education Research in Visual Instructional Technologies) Group in the College of Education at Lehigh University. EnviroSci Inquiry enables teachers, students, and the public to learn about environmental science content knowledge from Lehigh University LEO scientists and interns.
