The women’s basketball team captured its second straight Patriot League Championship, with point guard Erica Prosser ’11 serving as one of the main catalysts for the Mountain Hawks’ championship run. Prosser earned first team All-Patriot League honors for the second straight season, leading the league in assists (4.3 per game) and steals (2.7), while topping the Mountain Hawks in scoring, at 13.9 points per game.
Prosser netted her 1,000th career point in win over Akron in early January. A former Patriot League Player of the Year, Prosser helped lead Lehigh to a school-record 29-4 record and Lehigh’s floor general helped the Mountain Hawks extend their record home winning streak to 33 games.
The Pittsburgh native’s impact can be felt off the court as well, where she serves as Lehigh’s executive representative for the Student Athletes Leading Social Change program. In July, Prosser spent ten days with SALSC members from 11 schools across the country, building schools in Kenya.
