to special population groups and strategies for prevention of alcohol abuse.

Drinks, Drugs, and Do-Gooders, SSP 373
Alcohol and other drugs are addressed from several perspectives--social
historical and sociological, pharmological and legal--while evaluating their
use on one's health and social functioning. Special attention is paid
to social control efforts and the growing role of drugs, legal and illegal
in our society.
