Primary Responsibilities
Management of Desktop and Scientific Computing end user services for
Library and Technology Services.
On
the
Desktop
Computing
side,
there
is
a
team
of
Sixteen
Computing
Consultants who support the Desktop Computing needs of the
University. On the Scientific Computing side, there is a team of two
computing consultants and one Graduate Assistant who support the
Scientific Computing (
High
Performance
Computing) needs of the
University.
The first point of contact for a user
is the central helpdesk located in the main library
(Fairchild/Martindale). The helpdesk may be contacted by phone at
610-758-HELP (4357) or a user can place a work order in the LTS call
tracking system (footprints) at
http://www.lehigh.edu/help
Other Responsibilities
Project Managagement for various projects that include individual from
cross functional teams within Library and Technology Services as well
as groups in other areas of the University. Examples include
Operating System Upgrades, Anti-Virus evaluation and
Implementation, Laptop and PC encryption, hardware upgrades and
purchasing.
