Q. Who should attend the Lehigh Valley Watershed Conference?

A. Anyone interested in learning more about watersheds and watershed protection and management at the community level.  Watershed organizations, elected and municipal officials, planning commissions, Environmental Advisory Council members (EAC), agency representatives, local educators, scientists, and university students are particularly encouraged to attend.

 

Q. At what level will the plenary and breakout session talks be pitched?

A. All presentations will be geared to the general public, even those that have technical content.  All attendees will be encouraged to participate in discussions and the question-answer period that will follow each talk.

 

Q. Can my business or watershed organization make a presentation? 

A. The presentation schedule is fixed; however, businesses and watershed organizations can prepare and present a poster display designed for an 8-foot long table.  Displays for non-profit organizations are FREE.  Displays for for-profit organizations or businesses are $25.00.  See the registration form to indicate if you or your organization/business wants to make a display. 

 

Q. Can my business or watershed organization be an event sponsor. 

A.  Yes, we welcome your business or watershed organization to be an event sponsor.  We have several levels of sponsorship.  Click here for more information about being an event sponsor.

 

Q. What is the venue and is parking available?

A. The venue is the Wood Dining Hall and associated facilities in Iacocca Hall, Lehigh University.  A buffet lunch is provided as part of the registration fee.  Parking is free at the Lehigh University Mountain Top campus.
