Geoscience Curriculum

At least one course in:

(1) Earth Materials or Mineralogy or Petrology or Crystallography

(2) Sedimentology-Stratigraphy, possible substitutions include Geomorphology, Surface Processes, Historical Geology, Introduction to Field Mapping

(3) Structural Geology, possible substitutions include Engineering Mechanics, Introduction to Field Mapping

Environmental Science Curriculum

At least one course in:

(1) Intro to Environmental Science or Physical Geology or Intro Biology or Intro Ecology, possible substitutions include Education courses in Earth and Environmental Sciences

(2) Geomorphology, Hydrology, or Hydrogeology, possible substitutions include any second course in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, or Ecology

(3) Ecology, possible substitutions include any third course in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, or Ecology

If you do not meet one or more of these prerequisites, you must petition the Field Camp Director and supply rationale as to why you want/need to complete the course.
