To the list:

I recall reading a paper in my youth which had all the stable
exact sequences of cyclic modules over the Steenrod algebra
associated with connective bo and bu.  i.e. the stable
cofibrations associated with the two of these and the
successive connective covers.  I remember reading this paper
and learning a lot from it at the time.  However, I don't
recall the paper now.  It isn't Adams' "chern class" paper or
Stong's computation of the unstable homology paper.
It is possible I made it up though.  I can still do that.

Anyway, does anyone remember a paper fitting the above description?
