The Department of Mathematical Sciences of Durham University wishes to
appoint three Temporary Lecturers in Mathematics and/or Statistics, for
the period 1st September 2006 to 31st August 2007. The successful
candidates will have suitable experience of teaching mathematics and will
hold a PhD in mathematics or statistics. Preference may be given to
candidates with research interests which match existing areas of expertise
in the Department. They will be expected to undertake teaching and
administrative duties and to make a contribution to the research
