    There is a paper by Massey, where he writes up what additional
structure you need on an exact couple in order that the associated
spectral sequence be multiplicative:

  W. S. Massey, Products in exact couples, Ann. Math. 59 (1954), 558--569

I think it would be useful to have a reference - or may even a short
paragraph - for that paper in your book.
