Lehigh Valley American Regions Math League team |
Don Davis (dmd1@lehigh.edu) formed the Lehigh Valley ARML team in 1993 and has coached it for 31 years. Since 2003, he has been assisted by Ken Monks (monks@scranton.edu), and since 2022 by Lehigh professors Xianyi Zeng and Si Tang. Since 2019, Stella Chen has helped.
A team consists of 15 individuals. We had five teams from 2011 to 2022, four teams in 2007-2010 and 2023, three teams in 2006, two in 2005, and one in the years prior to 2005. Team members are selected primarily on performance on various math contests, especially the Lehigh University High School Math Contest. Contact Don Davis for more information about the LV ARML teams.
The team is sponsored by Paul Martino of Bullpen Capital, Google, Lehigh University, including the math department. Also, Adam Schneider now gives $450 each year for five internal awards. We hope to obtain additional sponsorship.
