I am interested in recruiting a student for a project investigating high-resolution synsedimentary fold growth in the Spanish Pyrenees. The project will use rock and paleomagnetic approaches to establish Milankovitch rhythms in growth strata associated with a series of halotectonic folds in the Spanish foreland. Project is well sited for a student interested in both structural geology and sedimentology. I am also interested in recruiting a student to work on an active tectonics project in the northern Basin and Range province, which will involve active tectonics, structural geology and tectonic geomorphology. I believe that graduate students should be competitively trained for a national marketplace, finish in a timely  fashion, and to benefit personally from their research efforts.
