A.01 System Bulletin

Networking Technology Survey

An on-line survey has been developed to determine how
networking technology is being used at Lehigh University and
how individuals feel about utilizing this technology. The
survey can be accessed by entering NETSERV at any Network
Server prompt.

For the purpose of this survey, networking technology is
defined as the use of local area networks, the backbone
network, and also use of the computer known as the Network
Server.

Even if you seldom use computers, your responses are still
important for this survey. The survey should only take a
few minutes to complete and will be available for completion
at any time during the next two weeks. Thank you for your
cooperation in filling in this survey at your earliest
convenience.

Note that users are not required to complete the survey and
participation in this study is completely voluntary. Typing
NETSERV at any Network Server prompt will be considered an
indication of your consent to participate in this study.
All responses will be kept confidential and will only be
used within summary statistics.

A.02 Networking Technology Questionnaire

Networking Technology Survey

The purpose of this survey is to determine how networking
technology is used at Lehigh University and how you feel
about utilizing this technology. The survey consists of 61
items all of which require only a single keystroke response.
The survey should only take a few minutes to complete. All
responses will be kept confidential and will only be used
within summary statistics.

Once you answer a question, the cursor will automatically
move on to the next question. Once all of the questions on
a page have been answered, press the F8 key to move to the
next screen. The arrow keys can be used to move the cursor
back to a prior question to change your answer.

If you do not have a few minutes to complete the survey at
the moment, press the F3 key to exit the survey.
You may come back to the survey at any time by entering
NETSERV at any Network Server prompt.
