you are: You are a rookie journalist for a new newspaper in Florida called The Sunshine Chronicle. Your particular interest is in Marine Science though you write articles on a number of topics. The Sunshine Chronicle is read by local residents and tourists in the Tampa Bay Area. It is your job as a journalist to provide the public with the latest news based on factual evidence.

Setting: It is the end of June. Tourist season in Florida is at an all time high. Vacationers are in the Tampa Bay area from all over the country enjoying aquatic activities such as fishing, boating, swimming and kayaking. Nothing exciting seems to be happening. Since the season began in May, you’ve been writing articles for the Best Selling Books column. YAWN! What a boring summer!
