A Brief History of Anthony Verbalis
Born in 1945 in Plymouth,
currently live in Fountain Hill, Pa. My wife is Susan A. Verbalis, who
works in the College of Arts and Sciences, and by virtue of which I have
this web page. We have been married for 30 years.
I went to Lehigh University (Class of 1967), and graduated with a
degree in Engineering Physics. I taught physics to Cedar Crest
College undergraduates for a number of years.
Now retired, I am spending much of my time composing music, and
learning how to compose music better. Music has been an avocation
throughout my life. First, I learned to play piano at a young age, and
then learned a bit about playing the viola and violin. I still play the
piano. I am grateful to my late father, Anthony Verbalis Sr., for seeing to it that I got a musical education.
