A Brief History of Anthony Verbalis

    Born in 1945 in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, I currently live in Fountain Hill, Pa. My wife is Susan A. Verbalis, who works in the College of Arts and Sciences, and by virtue of which I have this web page. We have been married for 30 years.

    I went to Lehigh University (Class of 1967), and graduated with a degree in Engineering Physics. I taught physics to Cedar Crest College undergraduates for a number of years.

    Now retired, I am spending much of my time composing music, and learning how to compose music better. Music has been an avocation throughout my life. First, I learned to play piano at a young age, and then learned a bit about playing the viola and violin. I still play the piano. I am grateful to my late father, Anthony Verbalis Sr., for seeing to it that I got a musical education.
