Origyns:
Origyns is a publication for the voices of feminists--undergraduates, graduate students, alumnae, faculty, staff, and professors emeriti. Originally published in commemoration of Thirty Years of Women at Lehigh University (1971-2001), Origyns now appears annually.
Origyns is a collection of essays, poetry, and short stories, some were specifically written for this publication, others were written for class or for personal experession, and some were written long ago. In addition to written works, original artwork has been submitted. In its fifth year of publication, Origyns has consistently increased in number of submissions and authors. Sarah Smith '04 was the Managing Editor and Layout Designer for the 2003, 2004, and 2005 publications.
The Fall 2006 5th Anniversary Edition Publication Team included Steph Palmieri, Leigh Dugan, and Christine Tucker.
Christine Tucker is the Managing Editor for 2007-2008.
The Origyns Team is always looking for students to volunteer to help with the publication. Past roles for students have included advertisement, editing, and graphic design. Submissions in the past have included short essays, poetry, art work, and other creative works.
