Most Lehigh summer courses are offered in one of three basic calendar blocks:
Full Term courses run the entire summer, May 21 – August 13 (final exams are held on August 14 & 15). Generally such courses meet once a week for three hours or twice a week for 1 hr. 35 min.
First Session courses begin on May 21 and end on June 27 (final exams are held on June 28 & 29). First term courses generally meet twice a week for three hours or four times a week for 1 hr. 35 min.
Second Session courses begin on July 8 and end on August 13 (final exams are held on August 14 & 15). Second term courses generally meet twice a week for three hours or four times a week for 1 hr. 35. min.
Some courses have special meeting times, and these are indicated in the course listings section of this web-site. It is important to know when and where a course will meet before you register for it. If you have any questions about dates, times and/or locations, contact the summer sessions office for more information.
OPEN SCHEDULE or "Open Learning Courses"
This summer Lehigh will be offering a number of Open Schedule graduate courses in the College of Business and Economics, and the College of Education. These courses have individual registration periods, start dates, and end dates. All such courses indicate “Open Schedule” in the session column of the course listing section of this web-site. If you are interested in taking an Open Schedule course, you should contact the college offering the course for detailed calendar information.
