Up to 10 pre-service Lehigh teachers will be accompanied by Dr. Timothy Cauller, Associate Director of English as a Second Language at Lehigh University. This 5-week teaching practicum is designed to provide hands-on classroom practice teaching English to Chinese university students. Working closely with a cooperating ECUST English faculty member, Lehigh in Shanghai participants will observe, teach, and tutor students in speaking, writing, reading, and listening classes 3-4 days per week and will attend a weekly debriefing led by Dr. Cauller to discuss and reflect on the teaching experiences.
