Carolyn Gibson is the Graduate Assistant in the Study Abroad office and is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Globalization and Educational Change from Lehigh University’s Comparative and International Education program in the College of Education.
A Pennsylvania native, Carolyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. While at Juniata, Carolyn was a student athlete, was active in international programs and studied abroad in The Gambia, West Africa. Her time spent in Africa, along with the positive influences of the Juniata faculty and staff that led the experience, ignited her interest in helping other American students go abroad.
After college, Carolyn worked in consulting in Washington, DC before returning to international education.
Carolyn enjoys running, biking and hiking with her family and friends, traveling to visit friends in far-flung places, and loves her pets.
