DONNA M. KAYE, ESQ. joined the NJSBA Legal Department in February 1988 after several years in private practice. She received her law degree in 1984 from Rutgers University School of Law, Newark. Prior to becoming an attorney, she taught French in the public schools. Ms. Kaye was the staff liaison to the NJSBA Special Education Committee for several years and served on the Governor Corzine’s 2006 Special Education Review Commission. She authored, and served as editor for, numerous school law publications and is a frequent presenter on school law issues. She lives in West Windsor, N.J. with her husband and their two sons, one currently in public high school and the other a sophomore at Lafayette College.
