ERIC L. HARRISON, ESQ., obtained a B.A. in English Literature from Princeton University in 1990 and a J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 1993.  After clerking in Ocean County Superior Court he joined the Edison, NJ firm of Methfessel & Werbel in 1994.

Mr. Harrison is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney and admitted to practice before the federal Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.  His practice focuses on the defense of civil rights and education cases before the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law, Superior Court and United States District Court.  In 2006 he was named to the New Jersey Law Journal’s “40 Under 40” list, an honor bestowed upon 40 attorneys under the age of 40 who are viewed by the bar as prominent figures in the New Jersey legal community.

Mr. Harrison edits Methfessel & Werbel's quarterly Case Update, a newsletter which reports legal developments of significance to the insurance industry.  He has presented at a number of seminars hosted by the Insurance Council of New Jersey and the Institute of Continuing Legal Education on a variety of subjects relevant to the defense of civil rights and personal injury claims.
