JULIE B. FOGT, Ed.D., is a nationally certified school psychologist and staff trainer at Centennial School of Lehigh University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Muhlenberg College, a Master of Arts in Psychology and an Educational Specialist degree from James Madison University, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University. In the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Dr. Fogt holds assistant superintendent letter of eligibility, as well as principal, school psychologist, and elementary education certifications. Dr. Fogt has extensive experience in developing effective positive school-wide, class-wide and individual supports to assist children and adolescents with behavior disorders. She has conducted numerous workshops and inservice trainings for a variety of professionals, including school psychologists, administrators, teachers, mental health workers and paraprofessionals. Dr. Fogt serves as an adjunct professor of psychology at Lehigh University. Dr. Fogt is a member of several professional organizations and has presented papers at many national and international conferences. Her research interests and publications are in the areas of school-wide positive behavior supports, physical restraint practices with children with emotional disturbance, and autism eligibility.
