CAROLE SANVILLE SMITH, is the Director of Special Education Services for Bucks County Intermediate Unit #22. She served as a special education teacher for the Centennial School District prior to joining the Intermediate Unit. Her career with the Intermediate Unit includes work with special education students from age three through twenty-one years-old as a teacher, service coordinator, school psychologist and administrator.
A graduate of Bloomsburg State University, she has a Masters Degree from Temple University and has received advanced graduate certifications and study at Pennsylvania State University, Rider University, and Lehigh University. She has taught courses in Special Education and Special Education Administration for Gwynedd-Mercy College, Saint Joseph’s University and Lehigh University.
