DR. GINA MACFALLS , holds bachelors (1988) and masters (1990) degrees in special education from the Pennsylvania State University and a doctorate in Educational Leadership (2002) and superintendent's Letter of Eligibility from the same institution. Dr. MacFalls has been employed by the Bellefonte Area School District since October, 2007 as the Director of Special Education. Prior to her position there, she had been employed as the director of special education for the Williamsport Area School District for over 8 years as well as a supervisor of gifted and emotional support programs, teacher of emotional support, and procedural safeguards consultant for PaTTan, King of Prussia. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses for Penn State Altoona and Lancaster. She was appointed in November, 2006 to the Governor's Special Education Advisory Panel (SEAP). She resides in Bellfonte with her husband and two sons.
