Initiatives for 2010-11
Initiative 1: Provide assistance and resources to our clubs to ensure their success
Action Steps:
- Reach out a helping hand before the club hits difficulties
- Work with the Student Leadership Trainers to hold relevant workshops
- Meet with clubs in need one-on-one
- Promote resources such as the Club Resource Center, Upper Ulrich, and the Hub
- Keep clubs updated about new resources and policies
Initiative 2: Assign liaisons that serve as vital and knowledgeable representatives
Action Steps:
- Each club has a personal liaison
- Liaisons will have general knowledge of the club’s activities and operations
- Liaisons shall attend club meetings and/or events
- Liaisons will always be available if a club seeks help
- Liaisons shall attend SLT workshops with their club
Initiative 3: Promote inter-club unity and minimize club overlap
Action Steps:
- Encourage co-sponsorship of events
- Facilitate direct communication between similar clubs
- Ensure that all new clubs have a unique purpose
- Offer a "co-sponsorship" workshop

Upper Ulrich Student Organization Office and Storage Space
The Lehigh University Student Senate is pleased to announce that we are able to provide our student organizations with a limited amount of office and storage space in Upper Ulrich!
Upper Ulrich will feature shared office space for 10 student organizations. Each organization will have access to a computer and a lockable file cabinet. The storage spaces range from assorted file cabinets to counter cabinets.
Organizations interested in applying for a space should fill out the application and submit it to the Office of Student Activities via e-mail at instuact@lehigh.edu.

The Club Resource Center is available for Student Senate recognized clubs and organizations and includes items such as a copy machine, laminating machine, computer, printer, banner paper, and other supplies for free. This new space will also feature the opportunity for student organizations to utilize the Student Leadership Trainers (SLTs) office and their office hours. The SLTs are student leaders trained in group facilitation skills and are well versed in topics relevant to student organizations.
Organizations interested in applying for a space should read the policies and procedures and fill out the application. Completed applications can be submitted to the Office of Student Activities via e-mail at instuact@lehigh.edu.
