Lehigh VPN for Windows XP Automatic Configuration Installer

The following instructions explain how to download and install the Lehigh VPN for Windows XP automatic configuration installer. This installer will automatically configure the Lehigh VPN and request basic information from the user such as the username, password and the drive letters.  The drive letters specified will be used to access individual as well as departmental LAN space.

Step #1: click on the “Lehigh VPN Installer for Windows XP” Menu option located on the security webpages (http://www.lehigh.edu/security)

Step #2: Run the executable file by clicking on the "Run" button

 

 Step #3: Go to the “Start” button, “All Programs” and then “Lehigh VPN.” Then click on the “Lehigh VPN” menu option.  (There should only be one option).

Step #4: Enter your Username, Password and the drive letters you want to map you LAN drive and your department I: drive and select your department from the drop down menu.  (Please note that students will be unable to map to a departmental drive unless he/she has special access)

 

Step 5: Click the "Connect" button.  Then go to "My Computer" and check to make sure your drives mapped correctly.
