What is uAchieve?

The uAchieve Suite combines degree audit reporting, academic planning, and schedule building into one comprehensive solution for student success. It will provide students, faculty, and advisors with visualized degree progress through interactive charts and graphs. As uAchieve is an upgrade to DARS, all of the existing underlying DARS programming related to majors, minors, and degree programs remains intact after the upgrade.

When will uAchieve be available?

The Registrar's Office, in collaboration with LTS, has been working for the past year to upgrade each degree program, starting with the 2013-2014 catalog, to take advantage of new uAchieve functionality. In addition, degree programs were compared to each catalog year to help ensure better accuracy of major and minor requirements in uAchieve. NOTE: Because upgrade is effective for 2013 onward, students who started prior to fall 2013 will not see charts and graphs and their audit retains much of the original DARS formatting.

Starting March 13, 2017 (spring break), DARS will no longer be available as the production instance of DARS is upgraded to uAchieve. There will be no audits available during this week. uAchieve will available starting March 20, 2017 to all students and advisors.

Why is this system being implemented?

With the development of more degree programs and specialized majors, the Registrar's Office considers this implementation a necessary upgrade to the current degree audit system (DARS). The uAchieve system will engage students in the process of academic career planning through a user-friendly, interactive platform where students can easily comprehend requirements and personalize their educational plans.

How will uAchieve help?

Students will have greater opportunity to be engaged in their educational pursuits and progress. Program accuracy and flexibility will make for more productive collaborations between students and advisors. The upgraded degree audit is easier to read, faster to access, and provides an interactive experience for students and advisors.
