Degree Audits & Academic History
Guide to Accessing Degree Audits and Academic History
To access the degree audit and academic transcript of a student, log in to Banner and follow the steps below:
- Click “Faculty Services”
- Click “Advisor Menu”
- Click “DARS Web”
- Click “Submit an Audit”
- You will be prompted to select a term (usually the most recent term) and click the “Submit” button.
- Enter the Student ID or name of the student you wish to run the audit for and click “Submit”. You will need to click “Submit” again to confirm the student you are running the audit for. (Note: you may be prompted again to submit the ID number. If so, click “Submit ID” to continue.)
- Select the degree program and the type of audit you wish to run, such as an audit for All Requirements, Incomplete Requirements Only or Complete Requirements Only. After making selections, click “Run Audit” to proceed.
- The audit is now running. Click the link to “View Submitted Audits” to review the audit you have requested. Please allow up to 5 minutes for the audit to be processed.
Audits will remain available for one week after they are run. You may run audits after each student registration change to make sure the courses selected meet the requirements you expect them to.
What If Audits are also available for advising purposes. An advisor may select any degree and major to run a sample audit if a student is considering a major change or addition. To do so, follow steps 1 through 5 above. On step 6, click the “What If” button and follow the prompts on the screen.
