Raise your hand if . . .

bullet

You want to be more positive in your classroom . . .

bullet

You and (your students) are frustrated by repeated redirections . . .

bullet

You want to spend more time teaching and less time dealing with problem behavior . . .
Then Project REACH can help!

This website was created to provide teachers with interventions that will help to make their classrooms positive and productive environments for learning. The Project REACH staff has searched the research literature for interventions that are effective for improving the behavior and academic achievement of students with emotional and behavioral disorders. We took the most effective interventions from the research and translated them into easy step-by-step directions for implementing them in your classrooms.

When you begin to implement the intervention, we provide support through a “Troubleshooting” section. This section guides you with questions to ask yourself and areas to consider if you run into problems with the intervention. Sample forms and materials are also available for you to download and use with your students. In addition to specific intervention ideas, the website also has a glossary of intervention terms (to aid you when reading about the interventions), as well as entries on more general topics like data collection.

Take this opportunity to browse the website to see what it has to offer. Information on other interventions will be coming soon. We hope that Project REACH can help you and your students reach your goals! Please contact us at projectreach@lehigh.edu if you have questions about our project, the website, or the intervention information. Good luck!
