All-Optical Functionalities includes research on novel nonlinear functionality in glasses, ferroelectrics, and organic materials. It also includes research on fabrication and properties of novel structures such as photonic crystal fibers and other guided-wave devices. Biophotonics includes research on advanced imaging, spectroscopy, and optical manipulation techniques in living tissue, as well as a range of materials and device developments for use in optical biosensors.
Our 2006 Open House and Biophotonics Workshop were held on May 18th and May 19th, 2006 in the Rauch Business Center. Materials will be posted shortly. Material from previous years is available also:
