About Us

It is our pleasure to provide support services to all international students, scholars, and their families while at Lehigh University. Our office offers a variety of services, including: immigration advising, serving as a resource center, and offering social and cultural programming for the entire Lehigh community. Advising Services

OISS provides immigration advice to students and scholars on an individual basis on non-academic matters. Advice on immigration includes general information as well as specific information on USCIS transfer of schools, extension of stay, work permission, and practical training experience.

The OISS staff is available to give support and advice on such matters as housing, family concerns, financial questions, personal difficulties, etc. We welcome and encourage international students and scholars to visit our office.

Social and Cultural Programs

From hiking trip to making sushi to halloween carving party, OISS offers a variety of social and cultural events throughout the year.  Our biggest cultural event, International Bazaar, takes place in every April when the communities at Lehigh come together to celebrate diversity through arts, music, dances, and food etc. To check out what we have done in the past, click on Photo Gallery.
