Nearly fifty international scholars presented their latest research on the topic of interfaces at the fourth International Workshop on Interfaces at Bear Creek, organized by Materials Science & Engineering Professor Martin P. Harmer. The week-long event is modeled after the highly successful and world-famous series of international workshops held at Schloss Ringberg in Germany, sponsored by the German Science Foundation and the Max Planck Society.

The workshop takes place every three years.
