MJ Bishop

Dr. Bishop is an Associate Professor in the College of Education’s Teaching, Learning, and Technology program and a new member of the Diversity Committee in AY2007-08. She believes that ethnicity, socio-economic upbringing, and cultural differences all play an important role in how individuals learn.  She is anxious to continue exploring ways for the College to infuse our curricula with discussions about social justice and diversity in order to put our understandings about teaching and learning in context.

Matthew Malouf

Matt is the GA for the Multicultural Resource Center and has promoted multiculturalism both here at Lehigh through his work on the LGBTQA Steering Committee and, prior to that, through his involvement with Polyethnic.com.  As a doctoral student in Counseling Psychology and a multi-ethnic Arab American, his research interests encompass issues of identities, multiculturalism and social justice and he hopes his involvement with the committee can help both local and global communites celebrate not only the differences between people but also the diversity present within each individual.
