The Mac OS X @ Lehigh web site attempts to be a thorough resource for any member of the Lehigh community using a Mac. There are certainly many situations, however, that require personal consultation or discussion.

Your LTS Computing Consultant should be the initial contact person for questions related to computing. There are consultants familiar with Mac OS X throughout the LTS organization. For faculty and staff the appropriate contact would be a Computing Consultant from the LTS Client Services team responsible for your college or department. Students living on campus should first contact a WIRED consultant. Students living off campus may contact the Help Desk. If a Computing Consultant is not immediately available and you need to speak with someone urgently about your Mac OS X question, you may contact the Help Desk.

The MAC-L email discussion list coordinated by LTS is a great way to stay informed about important Mac-related developments, announcements and recommendations related to central computing resources.

The campus community is itself an excellent resource for Mac OS X issues. Chances are that someone on campus has already run across the Mac issue you've encountered. The Lehigh University Macintosh Users Group (LUMUG) is a campus forum for all things Mac, with monthly meetings and the LUMUG-L email discussion list. Dr. Steve Peters, Assistant Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences hosts a Mac Support Wiki that welcomes contributions from the Mac community at Lehigh.

Students who would like assistance with making decisions about purchasing a Mac should meet with Lehigh's Apple Student Rep, Kristine Moore .
