How to verify that Symantec AntiVirus is functioning properly and protecting your PC

1.) Double-click on the gold shield in the right-hand corner of your screen (near the clock)

2.) Click the LiveUpdate button to initiate a software update

3.) Click Next

4.) Symantec will inform you of your status:

BAD NEWS EXAMPLE	GOOD NEWS EXAMPLE
You have a PROBLEM if you see any kind of error. Call LTS asap.	You are protected if you see this screen.
