1. Check with your LTS Computing Consultant (or department computing liaison) before ordering.
   
   
2. Consider only business-grade models from the recommended brands below (not consumer, gaming, or other home-oriented PCs.) Preferably, purchase one of the LTS bundles.
   
   
3. The best time to buy is when LTS is making a bulk purchase (e.g. anually in April/May for the public site labs, occasionally other times during the year).
   
   
4. Use the vendor links, vendor rep, or your CC to obtain a Quote.

1. Choose the correct Operating System. A Lehigh-purchased computer is typically erased and imaged* by LTS once it arrives on campus. If you are customizing a PC configuration, you can often save money by configuring the cheapest Windows option available (typically a Windows "Home" variety)
