Dear LNN community, A Welcome to New LNN Members The LNN community has expanded with the addition of 12 new members in the second quarter of 2009 . The LNN is now over 100 members strong! A big welcome to our new members: Porzio
Bromberg & Newman PC Industry Network Focus Groups and Member Profiles The LNN has now organized our members in categories, from which we can form Focus Groups going forward. Please see the Members tab on the LNN website to review the placement of your organization in the following categories:
Please use the join link on the LNN Web site (www.lehigh.edu/lnn) to update your member profile (ie. changes in your contact information) when necessary or to change the Focus Group to which your organization has been assigned. Thank
you for your assistance, Chairman’s Note July 2009
As summer rolls on, we continue to make progress with updating our website. The goal is to make this a more active way for all members to communicate, learn, and promote ideas and developments. If you haven’t been there recently, have a look and send us your comments on the content, design, and ease of use. If you don’t find what you are looking for, let us know. We hope that networking via the newly activated LNN LinkedIn tab will become a good mechanism for members to stay in touch.
The LNN enrolled its 100th member so, at least in my estimation, we are now a LARGE organization. The other side of the coin is the challenge to be of value to an ever-growing list of members, to maintain communications, to provide continuous activity and to increase involvement by members. We operate without taxing the membership, and your help is necessary to our success. You can help by becoming a Sustaining Member, an Executive Board Member, leading a Focus Group, presenting at a meeting, or volunteering your services in other ways.
We look forward to our next meeting on September 11 at Arkema in King of Prussia – midway between Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley. As part of this day, our first Focus Group (FG) meeting (Tools and Testing) will be held. With an expanding LNN we decided to form several FG’s to help people connect and more effectively address various areas of interest. If you do not know to which FG you have been assigned, or would like to change it, or lead it, just let us know. This is an experiment and we need your participation. Sincerely,
