Annual Report to Congress on the Implementation of the Individuals with
Disabilities Education Act During the 1997 reauthorization of the IDEA,
Congress appointed the US Department of Education to perform a national assessment
of all activities operating under the Act. The report contains four
sections -- Results, Student Characteristics, Programs and Services, and
Policies -- and each section can be assessed individually. (Scout Report)
