Marketing is a way of selling the product to a target audience.  If you have watched a business news service, e.g., CNBC, the commentators often mention a target audience.  This can be but not limited to a business-to-business, business to consumer, and a larger business to a small business (and vice versa) transactions.  Target may also be a few customers or many customers.  An example is the marketing of a new product.  It can be a new nut and bolt set needed by major airplane manufacturers.  Or it can be a new breakfast cereal needed by many parents for their children.  The nut and bolt example has only two customers while the cereal one has the potential customer base in the millions.  Your job is to develop a marketing plan for the product.
