In this example, the instructor suggests that the students search PubMed: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/

In this example, the instructor sends the students to the list of databases http://www.lehigh.edu/~inref/databases/ and also links to databases selected to be appropriate for the course topic.
