Safe Zone Training
In order to create a truly safe space for the LGBTQ community at
Lehigh, the Dean of Students established the Safe Zone Project.
This program is open to everyone on
campus and consists of an in-depth training through workshops and educational
sessions to help participants better understand the needs and concerns of
the
LGBTQ community. These trained allies are visible supporters and
advocates for lesbian,
gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning members of the Lehigh
community. Safe Zone trainings are held multiple times a semester(see below for dates). For more information, or to sign up for a training session, contact LGBTQIA Coordinator, Kim Ketterer at kak210@lehigh.edu.
