My Banner icon isn't working or I can't get into Banner. What's wrong?

Various changes in Internet Native Banner (INB) require an update to your PC. Please visit http://www.lehigh.edu/act/banner to run the update.

After the update is completed, you will have a new desktop icon to launch INB. Please use this icon and remove any prior bookmarks, favorites, and/or shortcuts to INB. Please note that users of test instances (such as FINT and HMRT) should go to the Banner/LEWIS webpage and update their INB test instance bookmarks at

I'm logging in to Banner but get an error message. What am I doing wrong?

If you see the following error message when you log on to Banner, it may be because you did not enter prod in the database field.

 


Enter 'prod' in the database field.

I was given permission to install Banner on my home PC. How do I install Banner at home?

Anyone accessing Banner from off-campus must have supervisor approval on file with the Accounts Coordinator. The form for recording this approval can be displayed and printed here.

If the form is already on file, please visit http://www.lehigh.edu/act/banner to run the update so Banner can be installed on your home computer.

Can I use Banner on a Mac?
Banner has been tested with OS X and works correctly with the newer versions of Safari (Safari 3.1.2.), i.e. Mac OS X 10.2.x. 
When you log into Banner using a MAC, is your cursor blinking in the password field and you're not able to type in your user name?

  1. When you see the log-in box, press cancel.
  2. You'll need to log back in to Banner.
    NOTE: You'll will only have to do this the first time that you log into Banner.
