On behalf of Lehigh University, and as Director of the Office of International Programs, I am pleased to present the Teaching Resource Website. This initiative was spearheaded by the Chair of the CIES 2009 Conference Organizing Committee, Dr. Gita Steiner-Khamshi.The purpose of the Teaching Resource Website is to begin to develop a compilation of sample teaching materials and resources in comparative and international education.

This website providesan ideal opportunity for cross-institutional sharing of ideas and resources, to the benefit of our mutual efforts and endeavors within comparative and international education throughout the world.
We invite you to browse the site and add to the resources which have already been uploaded. We encourage each of you to offer ideas and resources similar to those listed below:

• DVDs on education in other countries, development practice and projects, video studiesor any other audio-visual material that is related to comparative and internationaleducation,
• Interactive databases and simulations that include development indicators and statistical information/projections,
• Written case studies or other written examples from development practice and Textbooks or modules in comparative and international education,
