How to set up the iPod Touch to access LU Secure Wireless.

[NOTE: no advanced setup is required to use the Secure Wireless network 'lehigh' which is available in a few buildings on campus, including EWFM Computing Center and Whitaker Lab.]

In order to connect to Lehigh's secure wireless network "lu" with an iPod Touch, you must download the following configuration file onto the device:

http://www.lehigh.edu/iphone/lu.mobileconfig (you must click this link from your iPod Touch!)

Click INSTALL when prompted, enter your userID and password and Accept the certificate presented.

The configuration file is available to your iPod Touch from any wireless network that can access the Internet. If you do not have access to another wireless network, you can bring the iPod Touch to the Computing Center and connect to the new pilot network "lehigh" (802.1x/WPA2):

1. Go to the area outside of the WIRED Desk (bottom floor of the Computing Center)
2. Connect your iPod Touch to the "lehigh" network, enter your userID and password
3. Tap Accept when prompted to accept the certificate presented.
4. Once connected, open Safari and enter "www.lehigh.edu/iphone" to visit the iPhone FAQ web page
5. Tap on the link labeled "http://www.lehigh.edu/iphone/lu.mobileconfig" to download the cofniguration file
6. Tap INSTALL when prompted, enter your userID, tap Next, enter your password, tap Next.
7. Tap Accept when prompter, to accept the certificate presented.

You will now be able to use your iPod Touch with the "lu" wireless network throughout campus
